  • All Sales Are Final. The Gallery does not accept returns of art, sculpture or other items based on buyer’s remorse. Therefore, we do our best to provide excellent photos of the items listed for sale along with as much information and details as possible. Also, insurance is included with shipping costs and will cover any damage to art and other items during shipping.

    The Gallery outsources packing and shipping. We will assist customers by obtaining shipping quotes from the best shippers in the area. Quotes will include the cost of packing, shipping, insurance and any extraordinary the cost of any extraordinary shipping requests. It is then up to customers to select the shipper that best meets their needs. Any items that are damaged during shipment will be covered under insurance and is handled directly between the shipper and the customer. No refunds are available for items damaged during shipping.

     

    TAIRA

     

    A native of Kiev, Russia, artist Taira is highly regarded for her lyrical and highly imaginative metal sculptures and has earned equal praise and the respect of art connoisseurs and critics alike for her amazing mixed media abstract paintings.  She brings a similar sense of grace and power to her paintings. Her use of strong colors and the texture of gestural forms evoke a passionate response to each work of art. Her imagination and charisma are clearly exceeded by her amazing talent.

    TAIRA’s work is in permanent collections in Canada, France, the United States and Japan. Her work has appeared in over 50 exhibitions in the United States, Canada, including shows at the Mira Goddard Gallery in Quebec the Alan Stone Gallery, New York, Emil Leonard Gallery in New York City.

    In a career of considerable excellence and notoriety that spans over 50 years, TAIRA continues to captivate her legion of followers and collectors with new and exciting works of art.  Even at this stage in life, she does not shy away from taking risks and exploring new techniques and mediums. 

     

    Colin Fisher Studios in the greater Palm Springs, CA area has represented TAIRA for over ten years and following Colin Fisher’s retirement, TAIRA is now represented by JJ Harrington Gallery in greater Palm Springs.  JJ Harrington is proud to carry most of TAIRA’s new work and has a fine inventory of some older work that is still available for acquisition.
